The trailer bed tilts and the tuck pulls ahead, gradually lowering the container to ground level. During this process, the truck requires negotiating area about 10’ wide and 100’ long to allow for the length of container plus trailer plus tractor.
The trailing edge of the trailer bed acts as a wedge when the container is retrieved at the end of the lease. Ground damage is negligible.
Once the container is off the trailer, slight adjustments to its position are easy using a lever. Total time elapsed in this delivery was about 12 minutes.
